October's Special Offer!
This month we’re trying to make it easy for new clients to sign-up by offering them a $500 discount off any Rainier services. Clients signing up for a new Annual Service Agreement can apply their discount to the Annual Service Agreement fee, purchases of Transaction Bundles or purchases of Additional Support Hours. For existing clients we’re doubling the number of free transactions (from 50 to 100) received for signing up for the Recommended Merchandise program. Client Tip of the Month
Did you know that you can check the status of emails that you use Rainier to send out? It’s easy to use the desktop to drill down and verify that the emails were sent out and what happened to them. Here’s what  you do:
  • Click on the "Reporting" button then select email
  • Select a date range and look for the individual or group email (eg, sending out a newsletter)
  • Double click on the email and you'll see statistics (such as # of emails sent out, opened, bounced back)
  • If you've sent a group email you can see aggreagate statistics and individual statistics 


Featured Client Website
This is a new feature we added after a client suggestion in a recent webinar to "show us examples of other clients who are doing things really well". The example we selected this month was the Arcadia Little League who use Rainier as their primary website. The team there, led by Steve Esser, has done a superb job with their website, shown below:
 




Pay As You Go vs Annual Service Agreement Discussion
We created the Pay As You Go option for "commitment phobic" clients (that's their words, not ours) which provides a "cancel at any time" option. Pricing is  higher than the Annual Service Agreement option as Rainier must ensure we make money on each registration or other transaction as there is no long term relationship. Another difference is that the fee - 6.5% - includes credit card processing and is deducted by the credit card processor before the funds are deposited into the clients bank account.

For most clients the Annual Service Agreement remains the lowest cost option especially if the average fee clients charge is $100 or more or if the number of annual transations is more than 1000. For some clients, however, with fees of $65 or less and fewer than 250 annual transactions Pay As You Go costs less. We've created a Cost Calculator that allows your Relationship Manager to enter in your actual activity and determine what your lowest cost option is. They will be reviewing this with you at there next quarterly call.
