There is no fine print - here is the complete text of the guarantee:
Merchandise Guarantee: Rainier guarantees Client will recoup the annual service agreement fee plus fees for any transactions used, excluding any used for imported registrations, less any discounts or promotions received from Client’s profit from selling merchandise. If Client doesn't recoup 100% of Rainier fees as defined above for the first year, Rainier will make up any shortfall in the following year in free transactions valued at the average price per transaction paid by Client during their first year. To qualify for the guarantee, Client needs to sign-up within 30 days of originally contacting Rainier, email their logo and move forward with the “Merchandise Best Practices” (defined below) within 10 days of signing-up and continue the practices for one year from the date merchandise sales commence. To use their free transactions Client will need to renew their annual service agreement at the same fee and continue the Merchandise Best Practices.
Merchandise Best Practices are as follows: (i) sell the recommended merchandise at the recommended prices with the recommended text; (ii) sell the recommended merchandise in the webstore; (iii) sell the recommended merchandise with each online registration; (iv) send out a monthly email introducing the recommended merchandise to all former and current club members until online registration begins (v) send out the email newsletter each month thereafter; (vi) allow recommended merchandise payment only by online debit/credit card (and optional eCheck); (vii) maintain a minimum transaction balance of 50; and (viii) only sell merchandise through Rainier.
Once all Merchandise Best Practices have been followed, Client may add optional merchandise available for sale at prices that provide a "Merchandise Profit" per item as defined of 33.3%. Merchandise Profit is defined as the difference between the price paid by the purchaser for the merchandise item, excluding shipping and sales taxes, and the wholesale cost for the merchandise item paid by the Client. Merchandise Profit of 33.3% is required for both recommended and optional items. As all merchandise is custom made all sales are final so there are no refunds or exchanges. Merchandise will be shipped directly to purchaser within 2-3 weeks for $4.95 shipping plus $1.50 for each additional item. If legally required, sales taxes will be collected and remitted. Payment for merchandise sales, shipping and sales taxes will be automatically made to Rainier's merchandise fulfillment partner, Maverick Apparel Printing, and held in a separate, trust account. Merchandise profits will be remitted monthly to Client. The merchandise guarantee cannot be combined with any other introductory offer. To get started, Client needs to sign-up and pay for the annual service agreement. Rainier will include 100 free transactions supporting 200 merchandise sales (each sale uses one-half a transaction). Client to also sign-up with a payment processor for credit/debit card and optional eCheck. Maximum width for screen print is 11” and for embroidery is 3.5 (height proportionate to logo).
